Civonne Ray is a media management and mass communications professional specializing in editorial writing, creative content and programming. With almost 10 years experience, she enjoys enhancing media brands with innovative concepts, digital designs and unique storytelling skills to maximize audience engagement.
She’s a 2020 graduate with a Master of Science in Media Management from The New School NYC, expanding on her Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications. Currently she’s the founder of BO$$ ❤️ BABE, a woman empowerment playlist and platform in addition to doing freelance editorial, graphic and motion design. Her recent roles span from Management Assistant, Journalist, Music Designer and Social Media Strategist for Mood Media, Vashtie, One Musicfest, A3C Festival & Conference, being on Queen’s Hip Hop Festival panel and more.
Her passions include culture, music, the arts and exploring progressive technology. Furthermore you can find her doing charitable philanthropy work with community organizations such as, the Ripple Action Group and the Harvey B. Gantt Museum.

The triple titled album “Kids On Drugs”, “King Overdosed” or “Kill Our Demons” broke both Spotify and Apple Music records for most streams in a day with 36.7 and 64.5 million streams respectively. The single “KOD” from the album, also broke Spotify’s opening day records streams in the US with 4.2 million streams in 24 hours.
